Opportunities for Children
We have opportunities for children ages 12 and up. Minimum age requirements vary by volunteer opportunity and are noted on the opportunities details page.
Children under the age of 14 must volunteer with a parent or guardian. Please follow the step-by-step instructions below to sign up a child under the age of 14.
STEP 1: Create a Parent or Guardian Account.
Each child under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian accompanying the child must first create their own account.
STEP 2: Create the Child's Account.
Logout of your Parent or Guardian Account. And create another new account. Each child must have their own account.
STEP 3: Update the Child's Profile.
In the upper right, select the child's profile and navigate to qualifications. Then select "Yes" next to "This a child's account (age 12-13 yrs) being managed by a parent/guardian."
STEP 4: Choose a Day and Time to Train.
First, from the Parent or Guardian's account choose a day and time for Welcome Team Training. Then, from the child's account, choose the same day and time, but select the Welcome Team Training (age 12-13) option.

STEP 5: Complete Our Online Training.
Both the Parent or Guardian and the child must complete the online video training. Our system will prompt you with the online video training required for the opportunity you selected. There are two videos required. Both videos are approximately 15 minutes each.
STEP 6: Confirm Your Training Date and Time.
Once you have completed your online training, the system will automatically ask you to reconfirm your day and time for training. You will receive an email confirmation of your training date and time. And our team will text you 1-2 days before your training date to remind you of your day and time for hands-on training.
